Cape Town Hotel
De Noordhoek Hotel Is Different Kind Of Cape Town Hotel
De Noordhoek Hotel is a Cape Town hotel 30km (and only 25 minutes’ drive) outside Cape Town on the southern end of the beautiful Chapman’s Peak Drive. A Cape Town hotel in the city is vastly overrated, what with Cape Town’s infamous traffic snarl-ups, especially if you can opt for a tranquil setting and absurdly satisfying luxury, less than half an hour from the city and far closer to the other Cape Peninsula attractions.
At De Noordhoek, you can lounge in 4-star luxury and enjoy the benefits of modern hotel layout and planning, including provision for wheelchair-friendly and interleading rooms. However, our hotel is no faceless affront to Cape culture – built in the classic Cape-Dutch style, it poses as the elegant manor house of the adjacent Noordhoek Farm Village. The Village, by the way, is home to several very highly rated restaurants, three of which feature on South Africa’s Top 100 list.
De Noordhoek is also a green hotel. We have conceptualised our hotel to be environmentally friendly from the very beginning. To this end, we employ solar water heating for our hot water needs; we were the first hotel in Cape Town to do so. Our efforts go further than that: we also utilise power-saving lighting, water-saving showers, general design efficiency and separating of waste for recycling. Our dining tables were made out of recycled wood by a local entrepreneur and even our hotel staff all live within a 10km radius of the hotel.
Clearly, De Noordhoek Hotel is no ordinary Cape Town hotel. For more information on our hotel, our amenities and our numerous special offers, contact us today.
