There are three excellent eating-houses just outside the hotel, as well as a collection of craft and other shops (for you horse lovers there’s a very good Tack shop). There is also a delicatessen that has some awesome breads and croissants. Looking for meeting facilities in Cape Town can be a bit of a bind, but the de Noordhoek Hotel is a venue that lends itself to meetings of all types. You can even plan to stay the night at the hotel – there are some very inexpensive specials from time to time, and you’ll not get a better breakfast anywhere in Cape Town.
