B & B Accommodation
If you’re looking for B & B accommodation in the Cape Town area, you don’t necessarily have to stay at an actual B & B. Whereas many older hotels were built with full board accommodation in mind, the trend in more recent years has been for many smaller hotels to offer B & B accommodation rather than or instead of full board. One would have to be able to see into the minds of the developers to understand why – possibly it is because of the large numbers of restaurants and fast food outlets that have sprung up in most of our major cities – certainly in Cape Town. The de Noordhoek Hotel is one such hotel. Situated in Noordhoek (North Corner) at the southern end of Chapman’s Peak Drive, this boutique hotel offers superbly comfortable rooms and a breakfast that you’ll find hard to beat anywhere in the Western Cape.
The de Noordhoek was both designed and built and is run with the environment in mind. Solar heated water, CFLs and recycling are the order of the day. There are four wheelchair-friendly rooms with interleading doors and lowered fixtures and fittings, and everything is built around a central courtyard planted with delightful fynbos from the Cape Peninsula. This Cape Town B & B accommodation serves up a breakfast that you won’t better anywhere in the Western Cape – or even in the whole country for that matter. If you opt for continental you’ll get the most scrumptious croissants this side of Montmartre, if it’s English you opt for the choice is as wide as you wish, and if you are health conscious you won’t find a better choice anywhere. This is B & B Cape Town accommodation to beat all others.
