Western Cape Accommodation
The Western Cape has long been a popular destination for both tourist and businessman, and accommodation is always at a premium in this area. The attractions of the area are limitless. There is rock climbing, abseiling, wind surfing, surfing, paragliding among a host of others for the adventure seeker, a whole host of wine farms for the connoisseur, and the Table Mountain National Park and the nearby Kirstenbosch Gardens for the nature lover. Accommodation in the Western Cape has recently been added to with the newly built and exceedingly environmentally friendly De Noordhoek Hotel.
The De Noordhoek Hotel can be found in the Noordhoek Farm Village, which sits in a beautiful valley beneath Silvermine. The hotel is easy to get to from either the southern end of Chapmans Peak Drive or the southern extremity of the M3 highway. The accommodation in this Western Cape hotel has been thoughtfully planned and built. Eight of the twenty double or twin-bedded rooms have interleading doors, making them ideal for large families or parties traveling together.
Another four rooms are fully accessible by wheelchair and have been fitted out with lower beds, lower light switches and cupboard fittings, and the bathrooms are similarly fitted out. These four rooms also have interleading doors. To complete the picture there is a comfortable honeymoon suite with its own private garden. This beautiful hotel is also very environmentally friendly. It uses solar heating for its hot water and energy saving light globes throughout. Western Cape accommodation has never been as good as this.
