Conference in Noordhoek
If you’re planning on a small conference in Noordhoek in the Western Cape, you’ll never find a better place to hold it than the eco-friendly new boutique hotel, the De Noordhoek. The hotel is located in the Noordhoek Farm Village at the southern end of the world famous Chapman’s Peak Drive, arguably the most breathtaking marine drive in the world, and presently closed for maintenance. With Chapman’s Peak Drive closed there are two routes to a conference in Noordhoek. You can either access the peninsula from the southern extremity of the M3, from there taking the long pass over the top of Silvermine, or take the coast road from Muizenberg, branching off to Noordhoek from the traffic island in Fish Hoek.

The Farm Village has three excellent restaurants, all of which have been included ion South Africa’s top 800 restaurants. The whole village is eco-friendly and comprises of the hotel, the restaurants, a collection of shops offering all manner of goods – there is a tack shop for the horse set, w wine outlet, and an excellent Deli that is run as a sideline by one of the restaurants. The croissants and various fresh breads in their bakery are to be bettered nowhere. You can actually watch an artist at work in a studio in the village, and there are several craft shops.
