Underwater diving

The waters off Fish Hoek offer some of the finest opportunities in the Cape for underwater diving. The area from Jaeger’s Walk to Glencairn has been declared a marine reserve. Diving spots include Sunny Cove, located on the southern side of Fish Hoek Bay, and the Quarry, 2 kilometres South of the village. There is an interactive CD-ROM available from information offices in the Southern Peninsula detailing some 48 dive sites. The waters of False Bay can be crystal clear at times – this is an excellent place to dive and is only a short drive from Noordhoek and the De Noordhoek Hotel.
