Improving tourism and hospitality through improved Safety and Security of tourists in Africa. This involves a proactive role by all stakeholders in addressing the problem, which has the potential to affect tourism flow to Africa. As southern Africa prepares to receive thousands of tourists for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, expectations to maintain the highest standards of accommodation, safety and security cannot be overemphasized. The world will be focusing and counting on Africa, especially southern Africa to meet these expectations. This Congress with its local and international experts will unpack strategies and solutions and charter the way forward for Africa.
