Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show Public Tasting

Coming up on 5th June is the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show Public Tasting to be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in Convention Square at 5pm. If you’d like to sample some 60 of South Africa’s finest wines, as judged at the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show 2009, this is the place to do so. Little more than 20 minutes drive from the De Noordhoek Hotel, this is a wine tasting not to be missed. The tastings take place soon after the 1st June announcement of the Best White and Best Red Wines of the year are revealed as well as the Discover of the Show – which is the best value wine of the year. The highlight of the show is the Most Successful Producer Trophy which is annually awarded to the producer who has achieved the most medal winners picked from the almost 1000 highly acclaimed Cape Point Vineyards.
