I have to confess my ignorance – I didn’t expect to find vineyards quite so close to the De Noordhoek Hotel as they actually are. Constantia’s winelands are just over Silvermine from the the descent, make a left turn towards Steenberg and then follow the signs to the appropriate vineyard. They are far closer and much quicker to get to than traveling from the City area. This is a great way of spending a few hours, and literally just a few minutes from the hotel.
