Boulders Penguin Colony
Tags: Boulders Penguin Colony
If you travel from the De Noordhoek Hotel
through Simon’s Town, just after you’ve passed through the town on the left hand side you’ll find the Boulders Visitor Centre. For an entrance fee of just R30 you can enter the world famous colony of African penguins. There are wooden boardwalks from which you can see the penguins in their natural habitat, and if you make your way down to the beach you can actually swim alongside the penguins. This beach is ideal for children, it being sheltered behind huge boulders, which protect it from strong currents and waves. This is well worth a visit when you’re staying at the
De Noordhoek Hotel
