Hotel in Noordhoek
A large percentage of Cape Town’s artists live in the suburb village of Noordhoek, and there is no prettier place to build an hotel than in Noordhoek. Nor is there a better name for an hotel in this idyllic spot than the De Noordhoek Hotel. The hotel is situated in the Noordhoek Farm Village, a collection of craft stalls, family restaurants and a couple of pubs and is located in the Noordhoek Valley at the southern end of the recently reopened Chapman’s Peak Drive. The newly built De Noordhoek Hotel was designed and built with the environment in mind, and is the only hotel in the Western Cape that uses solar energy to heat all of its hot water. Accommodation at this hotel consists of twenty standard double rooms and a Honeymoon Suite, which has its own private garden.
The hotel management goes out of its way to ensure that this hotel in Noordhoek is environmentally friendly in as many ways as possible. Even the cleaning products used biodegradable and microfiber cleaning cloths are used in order to reduce the amount of cleaning product used. All external printing is carried out using recycled paper and lead free inks. All of our internal printing is also done using recycled paper and we always print on both sides of the paper to reduce waste. Our printing cartridges are collected for recycling by the supplier. This hotel in Noordhoek is easy to get to. It is just a few minutes from the southern end of the M3 and of Chapman’s Peak Drive.
