Cape Hotel
When Sir Francis Drake described this region as “the fairest cape in all the world”, he didn’t know what riches and splendours lay beyond the spectacular mountains he could see from his vessel. The Western Cape is a year-round holiday destination to which more than four million visitors flock every year. Naturally there are plenty of hotels here, but one of the newest Cape hotels has to be De Noordhoek Hotel. This fine establishment, located in the Noordhoek Farm Village, offers some of the Cape’s finest accommodation. There are twenty standard double or twin bedded rooms that are all tastefully decorated and superbly comfortable, with crisp, white linen. This fine Cape hotel was thoughtfully designed and endeavours to be environmentally friendly in every aspect, even the hot water is solar heated. Four of the rooms are completely accessible by wheelchair and their bathrooms have special wheelchair-friendly features. Eight other rooms have interleading doors making them ideal for families or large parties.
This unique Cape hotel is located in a picturesque valley beneath the Silvermine Nature Reserve and is ideally placed for both the West and East coasts of the Cape. Just to the West is the stunning Chapman’s Peak Drive and Noordhoek Beach, and a few minutes drive to the East is the village of Fish Hoek with its bayside restaurants. There are a thousand different things to do in the Cape, and everything is within thirty minutes drive of the hotel. Whether you want to spend your time on adventure sports or on a quiet walk on the beach, De Noordhoek Hotel is the place to be.
